11.08.2004 A site believed to hide the remains of Muslim civilians killed by Serb forces in Bosnia's 1992-1995 war had been found in eastern Bosnia. "We expect to find over one hundred bodies of victims from [nearby towns] of Foca, Jelec and Miljevina," Commission for Missing People head Amor Masovic said. More than 600 people from those towns are still missing. Groups of bodies were believed to be scattered over a 1km-long and 500m-wide area that was used as a dump by the Miljevina coalmine. |
